John Chapter 3 verses 3 - 7
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
This is not about being born again after death. That is the doctrine of reincarnation.
Being born again means believing in Jesus Christ. All people are guilty before God. Jesus paid for it on the cross through his death. Jesus did not only die but rose again on the 3rd day. If we believe Jesus, confess our guilt, we will be born again. Inside we will experience a positive change. We will carry this new divine life within us.
2. Corinthian Chapter 5 verses 17-19
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
But after we believe in Jesus and have been born again, we are not perfect yet. We will fall again and again and in some ways become weak. It is important not to lie down but to turn to Jesus again and again. He helps us up again and forgives us. But that does not mean that we have a free ticket to build bullshits (sinful). Jesus said to the prostitute that she should not sin after forgiving her guilt. He gave her the opportunity to start over.
I wish you from the heart that you will be born again.
